Mother's Day in the United States and Ukraine is annually held on the second Sunday of May. It celebrates motherhood and it is a time to appreciate mothers and mother figures. Many people give gifts, cards, flowers, candy, a meal in a restaurant or other treats to their mother and mother figures, including grandmothers, great-grandmothers, stepmothers, and foster mothers.

                When is Mother's Day 2018?

In the UK the wonderful event is celebrated on Sunday, March 11 .

In the United States and many destinations around the globe, Mother's Day 2018 is being celebrated on Sunday, May 13.  The special day is a chance for families to show their appreciation for their mothers.
